It seems it hasn’t started yet, probably due to many players complaining that they were given no notice about the Rakghoul event last time. The theory is that it was put into last week’s patch and just needs to be activated though, as there is currently no downtime for maintenance scheduled during the usual Tuesday morning window this week.

Mocap for the SWTOR Return Trailer. As someone who does a for-reals sword art, I’m finding this waaaaaaay too cool. I just wish they hadn’t made wonky editing choices so that I could see better what the stunt people were actually doing.

Daniel Erickson talks to IGN about Game Update 1.3 and what they’ve got planned. The article also features a video with James Ohlen discussing the new additions. The big four include:

• Group Finder
• Server transfers
• Legacy Perks to tailor the leveling experience
• Adaptive Gear + Augment tables

From the interview: “1.3 is primarily a features update, adding new functionality and quality of life systems to the game. Expect a return to big content with 1.4. We do not currently have a release date for 1.3 we want to share but it’s on a much shorter development cycle than 1.2 was.”
